BITD (back in the day) I used to hate wearing brown and black together. Now, I see it as super chic and one of my favorite combos. This Badgley Mischka bag helped pull the look together as I tried finding repetition and minimal elevation to create simplicity.

Happy Tuesday gorgeous ladies! Can you believe it’s the last day of September?! Seriously, where has the year gone? Even though my favorite season is behind us, florals aren’t. They’re EVERYWHERE this season, from the runway to the magazines, I just can’t get enough! We’ve seen everything from floral embroidery, furs, knits, and the list goes on. That being said, I couldn’t help but be inspired by this bright little number. I typically accessorize my outfits with bright colors because I find that fluorescent tops get pushed back in my wardrobe for spring or summer but this bold navy was too good to resist.
My advice for wearing fall florals would be to find a darker color to create more of a contrast like this navy, or try finding something with rich jewel tones or metallics for a chic every day number.
