Tularosa officially has my heart thanks to COVE, a new local boutique here in Austin inspired by travel, culture and the allure of adventure. I’m all about shopping local and when it comes to a new boutique I am so there. When I laid my eyes on this gorgeous dress I just knew I had to try it on. Love the crochet detail and Spanish vibe: obsessed. The neck of this dress is what really sold me because it comes up high illustrating a couture chicness. Hands-down my favorite dress in my wardrobe and might go a little dressier the next time I wear it with a sleek strappy sandal, hey?!
With face products I don’t mind spending a little extra because a lot of these products have skin care formulas in them that help nourish your skin while you’re wearing them. About 2 months ago I switched to the YSL Fusion Ink and fell in love. It’s silky and goes on your skin like satin, seriously, it’s amazing…plus you don’t need a primer (yesss!!!) and you don’t need much of it! Living in Texas, I love a good coverage foundation and this one does it without looking caked on. One oldie but goodie is Smashbox Halo Powder…this is all I used to wear without any foundation and it always gave a great natural look. I’ve been wanting to try this for a coverup so if you have, definitely comment below and me know how you feel about it because I totally want to know! Probably my favorite product out of this entire bunch is this bronzer. Before I ever learned how to contour I used this all over my face and body and it instantly gave me a bronzed look without the crazy overdone shimmer. It’s one of the best investments always lasting me about 6 months and haven’t found another bronzer I love as much since.

If there’s something I’ll add to an all black ensemble, it’s an accessory that pops. I am OB.SESSED with this tassel necklace and let me tell you why.
I had been eyeing these necklaces for literally months on Instagram and could never choose my absolute favorite. Having the pleasure to meet the creative genius behind the brand Beaded by W, Whitney, I just had to know how she got started, where her inspiration came from and if she could help me pick a favorite :). I mean, seriously you guys, girl-fan on 100 over here, she’s only 19, and she’s a BOSS. Having just started designing jewelry for funsies her senior year of high school, she gave one of her necklaces to a friend, and while word got around school, the rest is history. Beaded By W is now in dozens of boutiques across the country with necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and pretty much every color combination you could possibly think of. BOSS.
