Hey loves!! It feels good to hop back on the blog…I feel like so much has happened IRL and in the digital world, sometimes it’s hard to keep up! I’ve been so non-stop at my ‘9-5’,  9-neverstop, it’s been hard for me to find time to sit down and write and connect with you guys. When I do, I find myself getting distracted with emails, bills, and the 5 pairs of sandals yelling at me to proceed to checkout in my shopping cart.

It all comes back to: The Perfect Balance. What is the perfect balance? Now, I don’t have kids nor do I want them anytime soon seeing as how I’m trying to get my own life together, but trying to juggle everything all at once is not an easy task. The moment I had my first ‘omg I can’t do this anymore‘ moment, it all began to unravel. Let me explain…

A few months ago, I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t waste my time on anything else that wasn’t going to make me happy.  From my relationship, to friendships, to workplace, I started to take a big look at what exactly was making me happy. For starters, my day job became a place I began to dread, not because of the people I work with, but because of the type of job I was doing. When you’re at a place for 10 hours/day doing something you don’t love, it starts to show…and not in the work, but the overwhelming anxiety of ‘omg I can’t do this anymore‘. Life is too short not to do what you love. Which made me realize how damn lucky I am to have this platform to connect with so many of you. Blogging is my outlet to unplug, and not just connect with you on a personal level, but also get to know you as my reader. I love sharing and inspiring women to feel good about themselves and helping find that long-term happiness, so hello Aquazzura heels.

I am nowhere near the perfect balance of life, but I think that’s just life, and I’m on the road to getting there. You find what works for you, what truly makes you happy, and own it.
