If knee-high boots and blanket scarfs don’t scream “fall” I don’t know what does LOL! I wasn’t sure I would introduce you guys to these amazing boots just yet, but here we are. No lie, these boots were probably the best deal I’ve ever scored in my life. Being the bargain and outlet shopper I am, I’m always out to find a good deal! I mentioned in this post how I always stop in Aldo, because lets be real here…you can never have too many shoes. Trying to stay focused with my blinders on I was on a mission to find sandals only to find myself on the other side of the store looking at boots. Found these beauts and had to look at the price tag twice! They were originally $180 marked down to $24.95 with half off of that. Girl. I walked out of there spending less than $15! TOTAL STEAL! Granted, I didn’t find the sandals I was looking for, but I knew these would come in handy for months to come.

3 Tips To Online Shopping

To be real here, I always used to rock plaid and flares growing up. Taking it back to the old school, I’m still on a mission to find a bigger ‘bell’ bottom, and I’m obsessed with these!

I love when I find exactly what I want online (i.e. this denim!) but I still have a love/hate relationship with online shopping. Nine times out of ten I’m more than likely to end up at the store returning it for a different size or something different all together. Being a detailed shopper, if I order something and don’t like it, I’ve learned most retailers won’t let you do an return + exchange if you order online, which means you have to return your purchase, wait to get the credit back, and then reorder what you want. It should be something I accept, but on top of having to wait for it to come in the mail, I just can’t! If you’re like me, and just can’t, here are a few tip’s I generally find helpful when it comes to online shopping…

1.) Be proactive. A lot of the time when I shop online I typically do it to either get ideas of what I’m looking for, or what to look for at the store-think H&M & Forever. It can be so overwhelming, so be proactive, and try not to get too distracted. It can be hard to do, but after a couple of times you’ll become a pro at it.

2.) Must-have’s only! Don’t get me wrong, if I absolutely have to have something-like these shoes, I don’t mind the wait and anticipation. I know, #FirstWorldProblems right?! But make sure you absolutely love it, and it’s not an impulse buy. (An amazing sale, is kind of hard to pass up!!)

3.) Free shipping. I always take into consideration how much I’m paying for shipping, but I pretty much always meet the free shipping cost. Always factor in your shipping cost to make sure it’s really worth it. If you can save a few bucks and they have it in store, scoop it up during your lunch break with a side of happiness.

Now…let’s have a moment of silence for all the clothes we added to our shopping cart but never bought.

Definitely stuck in weekend mode yesterday. After a Sunday brunch with one of my besties, and tackling an ambitious dinner later that night, I decided to take a breather. Hope you all had an awesome weekend, seems as though they’re never long enough!

Ok, you guys…so I have a confession to make. I have seriously been living in these jeans for the past 2 weeks and funny thing is, they’ve been in my closet for the past year! I seem to go through phases of finding a favorite pair of denim in my wardrobe and re-working it into my outfits so don’t be mad when you start to see a trend ;). With my constant coldness, and this some-what cooler Texas heat, I’m wrapping my favorite denim jacket to accentuate my waist and become an instant accessory. I can dig it!
