Hidden Gems

Hi Beauties! Hope you all had a great weekend! My sweet mom came to visit and we had such a great time doing a little shopping and a lot of laughing. We always have such a great time when she comes in town :).

Today’s post is all about finding those hidden gems in your wardrobe. This denim skirt is definitely vintage because it’s something I’ve had since I was in high school and something I’ll probably never get rid of. I think it helps being Levi’s because the other Abercrombie one I found doesn’t seem to be something I can squeeze into, LOL. I mean, can you ever go wrong with a denim skirt?! Didn’t think so! I wanted to have fun with this look and balance out the dressiness of it so pairing theses booties was the perfect way to achieve this look.

All Black Everything

There’s something so chic about an all-black outfit. When I don’t know what to wear or in a hurry I always turn to an all-black ensemble. Typically when I get dressed I’ll start with a shoe and then go from there. I mentioned in this post how much love I had for these Zara shoes and finally made them mine for my birthday. By pairing them with a more laid-back outfit, like mine for example, it gives the simplicity I was looking for and pulls my outfit together. One of the biggest factors in a useful wardrobe is having pieces you can style in many different ways and that can easily take your look from day to night or dressy to casual. These shoes are the perfect fit with a classic summer feel. LOVE them!

Father’s Day Gift Guide

Is it just me, or are the men in your life completely hard to shop for?? They either seem to have everything or “don’t want anything”. Well, we all know we can’t just NOT get them anything and Father’s Day is just around the corner-ahhh!!! While I’ve been #onamission to find the perfect gift, I found some of the coolest gadgets and a few easy ways to update his wardrobe…..and yes, we already know you look the flyest, Dad. LOL!

Going Neutral

Hi Beauties! Happy Wednesday! Summer fever has definitely been going around, and I mean literally! I’ve felt so out of it the last few days so it feels great to finally have some energy back :). Today I’m sharing this amazing find from Neiman’s Last Call (which I never even go in!). I’ve been so drawn to neutrals lately and this top fit the bill. I was a little hesitant at first seeing it on the hanger because I didn’t want to age my look, but things can look different once you try them on. Instantly, the texture and material made this one of those ‘no-brainers’. The majority of the time when I shop I think to myself

How long will this last me?
How many times will I wear it?
Is it original?
Can I find it somewhere else for a better price?
Do I LOVE it?

Once I tried it on, I knew it would last a long time and something I would wear on a constant. For the brand and quality, I knew I couldn’t find it at a better price, and most of all, I LOVE it! What do you guys think?! xo
